New boxing gym is latest retailer to open in Lymstone Lofts building in Amherst – The Buffalo News

A gym that features boxing workouts is punching its way into the Main Street business district in Amherst.

Level Red Boxing, founded in Erie, Pa., is opening a new location in the Lymstone Lofts mixed-use building at 5933 Main St., straddling the Amherst-Williamsville boundary line across from Williamsville South High School.

Level Red Boxing, which also has a location in Pittsburgh, offers “boxing inspired group fitness” through workouts that also kettle bell strength exercises and core conditioning, according to its website. The workouts cater to everyone from beginners to gym rats, the company said.

Level Red Boxing is a franchise owned by brothers Matt and Anthony Pribonic.

The new gym in Amherst will open Saturday. The Amherst Chamber of Commerce is holding a ribbon-cutting for the facility Friday morning.

New Williamsville upscale apartments, retail building to open in late spring

The Level Red gym is the last retailer to move into Bevilacqua Development’s Lymstone Lofts, joining Fresh Catch Poke Co., Lloyd Taco Factory and Woodhouse Spa. The three-story building has 20 upscale apartments on the upper floors, and all but three of the lofts are leased.

“The mixed use of commercial and residential space at this Main Street site has been a great success,” says A.J. Baynes, the chamber’s president and CEO. “We welcome Level Red Boxing to the Lymstone Lofts, and we are confident it will be beneficial not only to residents of the lofts, but the entire community.”
